As the former owner of The Portrait Shoppe Photographers, I started my photography business in 1980 doing portrait and social event photography. I studied photography at the prestigious School of Visual Arts in New York City back in the 1970's, taking classes with great artists, Minor White, Jerry Uelsmann and David Brooks.
Building my business, I concentrated on Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16's, portraits, product photography, marketing departments and digital broadcast video.
From the year 2000-2009 seasons, I was one of the photographers for The New York Jets, working for the marketing department. The typical game day assignments were to photograph the corporate supporters, celebrities, and the action on field. The team used the images for advertising, game day brochures and the web site.
Photographing weddings, corporate marketing, college baseball, pro and college basketball, motor sports, western rodeos and NASCAR is still my forte. Some of our commercial accounts include Betterbasketball.com, New York Life, AIG, The Willis Company, United Cerebral Palsy, GMR Marketing, Queensborough CC Marketing, Nissan Motors (NY Marathon), Citibank, photo contributor to The NY Daily News and ProCamps.
